Transport & Bus Rules
The school provides air conditioned transport facility enabled with GPS tracking system, CCTV and TV screening for the students through its own buses for transporting the students from different localities to the school and vice-versa. Undisciplined behavior of the child inside the school bus will make the student ineligible to use the school transportation.
Bus Rules:
- Buses operate on specific routes, depending on the number of students on that route. It is not practically possible to drop students at the door-step of their homes.
- On finalization of the route, no changes or diversions will be entertained, and parents are requested to cooperate.
- Parents must consult the Transport-In- Charge regarding any transport matter. Incase of a change in address kindly allow a week’s time for re-routing.
- No student will be permitted to discontinue bus service in the middle of the year.
- All students commuting by bus are expected to be at the bus stop atleast 10 minutes before the arrival of the bus.
- The bus will not wait for more than 2 minutes at the stop.
- The students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
- No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.
- All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding the bus.
- No student should travel standing on the foot board.
- The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stops only.
- The list of stops is made keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and is always subject to change.
- When the bus is in motion students must not move around on the bus nor must they expose their heads or arms outside the windows.
- Students will be held responsible for any damage to the buses caused by negligence.
- Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside buses is not permitted.
- Unruly behavior like shrieking, whistling and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behavior is expected at all times.
- The driver’s attention must not be distracted for any reason.
- Bus in-charges are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses.
- Any serious offence must be reported directly to the Principal.
- While getting down the vehicle, ensure that you have taken all your belongings.
- Parents are requested not to pass any message through the driver or conductor.
- The students must travel only by the buses allotted to them by the Transport-in-charge.
- No object should be thrown inside or outside the bus.
- Parents are not allowed to enter the bus under any circumstances.
