School Policy

  • The Students must carry the Almanac to school every day with their photographs duly pasted. The identity information should be complete/duly signed by the parents.
  • Students who come to school by their own transport should arrive at school before 7:50 AM.
  • Students must be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn every day and for all school functions. Students who are sloppily dressed or not in proper uniform will be fined. Students must wear their Identity Card every day.
  • Non-Sikh boys must get their haircut at regular intervals.
  • Students are expected to respect the property of others. They should also show respect for school property and no student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the Class Educator or the Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.
  • Students are advised to keep their classrooms / school building / campus as neat as possible and throw left overs into the trash cans only.
  • Lending or borrowing of money and any other articles is not permitted.
  • The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles. They are also not allowed to wear jewellery in school. The school bears no responsibility for articles lost in school.
  • Students are expected to converse only in English at all times.
  • Parents are requested to encourage their child/children to speak in English, read English Newspaper and books to gain confidence.
  • Each student should possess a dictionary.
  • Homework / Assignment should be noted down in the Almanac.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against a student whose conduct is derogative towards other students.
  • Pupils are required to behave politely and avoid use of indecent language or action, injuries to the feelings of fellow students, teachers or others in the school.
  • Any such behavior indicative of hurting other, caste or community will attract a serious disciplinary action or even dismissal.
  • Serious violations of the rules and regulations and the discipline of the school is punishable including removal or expulsion from the school. Such action will normally follow a written warning to allow improvement in conduct.
  • Immediate expulsion and/or even rustication will follow of the continued presence of defaulting students is damaging to the physical and moral well-being of other students and of the school, or if the violation is punishable seriously at the board level, such an unfair practice at the examination.
  • Parents and Guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or Educators in the classrooms, without the permission of the Principal. As far as possible, once a child has come to school he/she should not be asked to go on half a day or take leave from any period.
  • Carrying of cellphone and expensive watch is strictly prohibited in school.

  • There will be no retest if a student is absent.
  • Students are expected to take part in all co-curricular activities of the school.
  • Every student must take part in school games, physical exercises and club activities unless physically unfit or exempted by Principal/doctor.
  • Birthday is an extremely special occasion for every child and we at MM School love to celebrate birthdays. Birthdays are celebrated in the assembly and birthday boy/girl gets a privilege of coming in civil dress. The child is presented with a card, and a chocolate, by the school on the birthday. Parents are advised to take their children on their birthdays to old age home or orphanage and distribute sweets, old clothes and books which will inculcate compassion and empathy in their ward.
